Art has been one of my favorite classes since before elementary school. In high school, I have taken Art Foundations, Drawing and Painting 1 & 2, and AP Drawing Portfolio. Throughout my classes at the high school I have grown and learned more than I ever could have imagined. Taking art forced me to push past my comfort zone and discover mediums, styles, and ideas that I never would have tried on my own. Over the past four years I learned that there is more to art than just realism, and I have begun to incorporate more creativity and originality into my pieces. I have also started getting into digital art, and I am working digitally for my AP Portfolio. I am lucky to have had the opportunity to be part of such an incredible art program. I don’t have any idea what exactly I want to pursue in the future, but I do know that art will always be a major part of my life.
