Hello! I’m Katie. It’s nice to meet you. To tell you a little about myself I’ve taken art foundations, drawing and painting one and two, AP drawing portfolio, and pottery classes one, two, and three. Art has been a means of escape and calm from all of the stress that high school brings. I always enjoy being in the art room and I love to paint especially on larger canvases. The art experiences I’ve had have opened me up to many new experiences that go alongside them. I’ve gotten better at art and will continue to practice and hopefully that will open up new opportunities for me. I plan on doing art in the future and never stopping regardless of whether or not I pursue it as a job. My artistic style is realism. It’s the style I tend to go towards even if I’m trying to do a different style. I’m most interested in painting and attempting to capture lots of detail within those paintings, preferably on a bigger canvas.
