Jane Knudsen

Hello, I’m Jane Knudsen! I’ve been an art student since freshman year, having taken Art Foundations, Drawing and Painting I and II, and AP Drawing Portfolio this year. I love art. It’s a great means of creative expression, and I love being able to have that kind of outlet, and being given opportunities to thrive in art classes like these. I’ve definitely learned a lot of different methods when it comes to classical art, but being able to have a lot of creative freedom with different projects will help in the future. I’d like to continue in the artistic field, whether it be painting or comics, or anything of that nature. I’d say I have a pretty stylized style, focused a lot on people and their expressions. I grew up reading MAD Magazine and watching The Simpsons a lot, so I’m sure that influenced me pretty heavily. It would be great to work on graphic novels in the future.
